Shanghai Daily reports:
CHINA Telecom plans to invest 200 million yuan (US$29.41 million) to build or upgrade Wi-Fi networks in 30 cities nationwide, mainly in the Yangtze River Delta, industry sources said yesterday.
People can use laptops or handsets, such as iPhones, to access the Internet around Wi-Fi hot spots.
The Yangtze river valley also happens to be one of, if not the, richest areas in China. China Telecom isn’t stupid.
p.s. I wonder if I should start tracking gratuitous references to iPhones.
