HSDPA Up and Running in Shanghai

Marbridge Daily reports:

Shanghai Mobile has confirmed that its TD-HSDPA 3.5G network has been put into use in Shanghai. Users can now purchase TD-HSDPA data cards to experience network speeds of close to 1 Mbps per second, which is approximately 2-3 times faster than the original TD-SCDMA network.

No word on any giveaway, subsidy, specials from China Mobile for the cards.
